We are excited to begin the search for a for a communicative Release and Incident manager with great coordination skills. We search for a person who always looks for ways to improve and make our current WoW more efficient and really drive change over multiple teams while at the same time handle release and incident management in an excellent way. Here you will get the exciting opportunity to work close with both the front-end and back-end development teams. You will also have a unique possibility to get great Experience and exposure to the GCP platform and drive change towards automation!

 

What you will do

 

As a Release and Incident manager you are responsible for the whole release life cycle as well as the CI/CD related processes and tools. You will also lead the incident resolution coordination over all the teams and facilitate the acceptance testing. Your tasks will most likely change over time as our business develops but to start with, here are some of the things we would need you to take responsibility for in the area:

  • Release mgmt

- Planning the release life-cycle
- Ensure changes are prepared for release in the product and platform delivery teams
- Coordination between the all delivery teams and QA for the sprint scopes readiness
- Development and maintenance (owning, optimizing) the CI/CD related processes
- Coordinating the deployment processes

  • Incident process coordination

- Leading the incident resolution across multiple teams
- Ensure incidents are being closed
- Coordinate acceptance testing
- Facilitate blameless postmortems after incidents

 

What we will need from you

 

We guess that you most likely have been working with Incidents and release mgmt for a few years. We also believe that you have excellent knowledge in the software development life cycle. You should also have experience in setting up and running CI/CD processes and knowledge of build, QA and deploy tools. We also think that you are a natural leader with proven analytical and leadership skills with a problem solving and customer-centric attitude.

If you have knowledge in any of the following we will consider it a great plus!
- Release management and PM experience
- Experience in driving automation of the manual process
- Previously worked in financial sector
- Are Aware or comfortable with scripting (bash, python etc.)
- Google cloud services

Excellent written and verbal English skills is mandatory.
