Further, 61% of the surveyed solopreneurs state that they “usually manage by themselves” in times of crisis.

And as a step in the ambition to better understand how solopreneurs are thinking, acting and dealing with the consequences of the crisis, we surveyed over 400 solopreneurs. The results and the findings from that survey can be downloaded below.

In our survey, an image of the solopreneur as both pragmatic and resilient emerges. While more than 40% of the sample group states that they have been impacted negatively or critically, the majority has not yet suffered financial consequences, even though many are worried.

While borrowing money or turning to the government appears to be a less likely scenario, many solopreneurs are open for support to secure new business while others would welcome advice on how to reduce costs or get in contact with other solopreneurs facing similar challenges.
